Victoria Justice is radiant in red in this new shot for Para Todos magazine.
“First let me say, I’m very proud of the fact that I won the role and that it wasn’t handed to me. There’s something very rewarding about auditioning, screen testing and then knowing that they’re choosing you. As many actors know, there is so much rejection in this business, so it’s nice to win one,” she shared. “I loved everything about [making the film]. I’ll start with how great it was to work with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage [director and producers of the film]. I liked their vibe, which is really important because it sets the tone for the set. I liked the fact that I got to step outside my TV show’s character [Tori on Victorious] and prepare for a different role for a change. Also, shooting on location was great, even though there were some very hot and humid days in Ohio, there were quite a few days over 100 degrees.”
Vic added about continuing on in movies, “Absolutely, that would be the dream to keep working, but not to just keep working, but to find quality roles where you can stretch yourself and projects that you believe in. That’s the goal. I’d like to get to a point in my career where I can start producing my own projects and possibly write my own screenplay.”
